I have been making hand-made teas and teaching tea making around the world since 2011. I started my career in tea in Sri Lanka where I managed a small tea estate and set up a micro tea factory for several years. Since then I have helped develop several small scale tea factories overseas.
I am also a licensed trainer for the U.K. TEA ACADEMY and I have also produced two ONLINE courses - How to grow and make different types of tea at home and How to grow and make black and green tea professionally on a small scale.
I developed The Scottish Tea Factory to help Scottish growers produce their first teas and to act as a learning hub to share knowledge. The tea factory closed at the end of 2023 and I am developing a new business to run alongside my consultancy work . Another passion of mine which is all things art and being creative.
